Richard Statham
CEO
Innovating to continuously challenge the status quo, Richard has more than twenty years’ experience working internationally throughout APAC with Volvo Group. His roles have spanned product development, acquisitions and commercial business expansion. A compelling visionary leader, since founding NMES Group in 2017, Richard has exploited his wealth of operational, planning and organisational experience to secure the company’s growth. Leading the streamlined management of technology development and product launches, his vision for the future ensures NMES Group always stays one step ahead whilst continually reflecting his passion for health and wellbeing.
Tim Statham
Chairman & CFO
A qualified accountant with over 30 years’ experience in senior finance and operations roles, Tim brings with him a wealth of expertise working across many industry segments with numerous industry giants. Based in Switzerland for the past twenty plus years he has led the Finance function for the Global Supply Chain and more recently led the Supply chain operations in both APAC and EAME for a global biotech company, fostering a close collaboration with the regional commercial teams. Through joining NMES Group in 2020 as CFO and NMES Group Chairman, Tim brings with him substantial financial and strategic leadership which continues to underpin the ongoing commercial successes of the company.
Vedran Stankovic
CIO & Managing Director Entertainment
Previously Assistant Vice President at Barclays Bank, Vedran helped establish NMES Group in 2017, bringing with him extensive insight in software and hardware engineering, integration, as well as social platforms and IT. A seasoned innovator in the tech field, he continues to provide ideas and solutions to the NMES Group platform, ensuring its smooth operation and continued growth. Through broad experience in developing and leading IT processes within FinTech and Governmental Agencies Vedran provides an invaluable understanding of cyber security and compliance within the tech industry. A keen gamer, he also ensures he is at the cutting edge of business insights both here and within the wider entertainment industries.
Vincent Tellenbach
CTO
With over 25 years experience in developing NMES devices for rehabilitation and motion sensing, Vincent joined NMES Group in 2017. His extensive experience includes developing specific and sophisticated medical certified electrical stimulation patterns in collaboration with the John’s Hopkins affiliated Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore. Here, Vincent designed stimulation patterns for the treatment of neurological patients with partially degenerated and significantly atrophied muscles. Always excited by technological challenges, Vincent continues to enjoy designing and advancing the NMES Group hardware and firmware provision. It is through his respected expertise and ethical credibility, that Vincent has secured an unequalled supplier and partner network within the industry.
Dr. Vikki Sparkes
Managing Director Therapeutics & Clinical Affairs
Vikki has a clinical background in neurology, orthopaedics, amputee rehab and rheumatology. With 25+ years of broad experience as dedicated researcher, clinician and educator she has a record of conceptualising, designing and leading projects in healthcare and education, having founded several rehabilitation programs and published widely in journals. After selling her own business, Vikki joined NMES Group in 2019 to lead the Therapeutics unit, while continuing her studies for a master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics. Dedicated to putting patients first, she is committed to establishing the success of the Therapeutics business by solving clinical problems through affordable healthcare solutions.
Jonathan Truett
Managing Director Specialist Applications
Jon joins NMES Group following an extensive operational record of 23 years service in the British Army with over 20 years serving in Tier One Unit within the UK Special Forces. During this time, Jon covered the full range of complex special operations missions and roles, achieving recognition for both performance and valor.
His passion for innovation with purpose has been honed from these experiences, particularly when mastering the art of being human within these challenging professions. Jon’s collective skills and training include hostage negotiation, crisis management and in leading trauma incident management, in addition to his education in international relations and collective security. This wealth of experience ensures both Jon’s ongoing success as MD for the Specialist Applications business unit, and as an essential collaborative member of the NMES team.
Tor Åhman
Managing Director Fitness & Wellbeing
Tor began his fitness career following his time spent as a professional ice hockey player in both Sweden and the USA. After retirement from professional sport, Tor began his business, becoming head coach and manager in his own CrossFit Gym in Sweden. Having independently built the business over the past 13 years, Tor now channels his passion for fitness into training people from all walks of life - from professional performance athletes, to corporate executives, to those simply wanting to improve their general health. Joining NMES Group in 2022, Tor has been dedicated to implementing diPulse brand technology through fitness and wellbeing to improve performance at all levels of ability and to achieve a diversity of fitness goals.
